The Cavernas developed in the Tanga liestone are ate a low altitude and close to the coast. They show a sequence of develepment wich appears to be relatde to fluctuating sea-levels as reveale by niver terraces and benches in the sane area. Na Attempt is made to draw up a tentatice scheme od cave evolution linked to these fluctuatig sea-levels
